Lets Install TruConversion tracking code on Prestashop, code will be available on TruConversion app dashboard.

1.Paste the tracking code on your websites.

You can do it using the following options:

  • Module
  • Paste the tracking code to your website.

Module

You can insert custom HTML / JavaScript on your site by adding the tracking code on your preferred pages by using a module such as Content box.

All you have to do is install the module and add the code in the “source code” mode. Attach the module to the block of your choice.  In order to record the entire page you should choose the block that is displayed on every page, for example, “displayfooter”.

Paste the tracking code to your template

By pasting the JavaScript inside the {literal}{/literal} tags, you can insert the tracking code directly into a Prestashop template.

2. VERIFY CODE INSTALLATION

Open your site in a browser, let it fully load . Then go to TruConversion application dashboard, and click on VERIFY INSTALLATION.

That’s it. Now you can create the first campaign for your site.

Note:

  • This tracking code will be unique for every new site you add. If you make any major changes or modifications on your website after installing the TruConversion tracking code , make sure to copy paste the tracking code again on the head tag because this code must be accessible by TruConversion server in order to track visitor activities.
  • After making changes on the site, make sure that you have installed TruConversion correctly by clicking on “VERIFY INSTALLATION”.
