The TruConversion Tracking Code
The TruConversion Tracking Code is the code that you will need to install on your website to start tracking your visitors.
Universal Tracking Code
This Tracking Code is unique for every website you added in TruConversion account. But TruConversion Tracking Code works as universal code. Means you can add same tracking code to its sub domains and cross domains or at any other pages you wish to track with.
You will be prompted to install this code after signing up. It will appear in your dashboard and will disappear as soon as it is installed.
This is what it will look like:
Don’t not paste this code anywhere else after copying from TC dashboard. Just copy the code from TruConversion dashboard and paste it right before the tag on every page of your site.
Specific instructions can be found on the install code page once you sign up.
Once you’ve copied the code, you can install the code on your site manually or follow one of the platform-specific guides.
NOTE:
- This tracking code will be unique for every new site you add. If you make any major changes or modifications on your website after installing the TruConversion tracking code , make sure to copy paste the tracking code again on the head tag because this code must be accessible by TruConversion server in order to track visitor activities.
- After making changes on the site, make sure that you have installed TruConversion correctly by clicking on “VERIFY INSTALLATION”.
